Give me a seat

I spent a few days in Italy for Christmas, at @casa_coniglio, and I thought it was a good idea to create a new chair for the guests house. It's an Ikea Idolf, bought on sale a few years ago. I always liked its easy and retro line and I had kept the price hook to attach an origami boat to it. But it needed a new look for 2019.

And so, with one of my Christmas gifts, the label maker Dymo (diamonds are not always the best friends of women), I put a written.

I don’t have a superb calligraphy so the label maker came to my aid to realize the idea by keeping an orderly writing and dealing with the little time I had available to make it happen.

I chose a famous Italian musical lyric song "Aggiungi un posto a tavola" that is staged at the Sistina Theater in Rome. And, coincidentally, it's a musical inspired by the book After Me the Deluge by the English writer D. Forrest.
The phrase says "se sposti un pò la seggiola stai comodo anche tu" that it’s "if you move a little the chair you're comfortable too": there is place for everyone around the table, if you want to share.

I thought it was a kind present for guests to have a personalized chair, different from the other ones on the market, with a wish to feel good all together around the table.

For marketing purposes in the rental field, these tiny customizations, calibrated and targeted, are very successful! They give the customer the feeling of being loved and pampered, that his stay is designed and studied for him, that the owner is present and takes care of the spaces. Small details, well studied, that increase the potential of the property and the positive feedback reviews.
I mean, a way to make love and be loved and make sure that the property will be always rented and at the right price.
